Reset Temperature
Normally Closed: When the temperature falls to the reset temperature, the thermostat contact can be connected again. (If the reset temperature is not reached, the thermostat contact is also disconnected)

Please Note :
- During installation, the temperature switch should be completely close to the mounting surface of the tested appliance.
- Do not collapse or deform the plastic / metal shell during installation.
- For metal temperature controller, when using, do not remove the insulating sleeve to avoid electric leakage.Not suitable for working in water.
- Not suitable for air temperature sensing, only applies to contact sensing.

I replaced a defective/tripped limit switch in the light assembly of my hunter ceiling fan using one of these and it fixed the issue while maintaining the intended safety feature of the circuit. Online tips to fix the fan light said just to get rid of it but it’s there for a safety reason, so get this instead! The reason I took off a star is because the wire gage is very thin and it’s a wound cable which makes stripping more lead wire and attaching it to other wires a bit fiddly unless it is soldered.

Jan.12, 2021Used this thermal fuse to repair a HDX floor fan whose previous owner never dusters motor housing. The dust had built up and insulated the wires such that it over heated and tripped the OEM fuse.This fuse is large for my purpose, but it was pre-tinned and within the specs of the original despite being much larger.I wired it up, and it worked like a charm. So if it fits your specs and you have room to accommodate it, go for it.
