A Bell & Howell Quad Burst LED light in my garage stopped working after just over two years. Before spending another $45 to replace it, I thought I would look up some repair videos on YouTube. Sure enough, there were videos on how the Thermistor burns up in the lights. It was quick and easy to desolder the old unit and replace it with one of these new 5D-9's and it works good as new. So, it cost me 39 cents instead of $45 to get a light back in the garage. Now I've got a bag of them in case the matching light goes out or if this one ever fails again. Even if I count the cost of the whole bag, it's still $40 cheaper than buying a new light.

The thermistor worked immediately to resolve the issue. Replacing an original thermistor (burned out in the high lumen LED after four months), this thermistor is a better value, longer lasting replacement. The light is again fully functional.

Fixed a LED light fixture in the basement. Worked after de-solder and re-soldering new one in.
