While pricey and hard to get, they are most effective on our cedar siding and easy to work with without damage to wood.

I purchased these nails to secure exterior trim boards to high mountain cabin which experiences a lot of exposure to the elements. I found them to be extremely strong and very resistant to attempts to extract them. That is exactly what I was looking for. I never had one bend when it was being driven in, even into very hard woods that required a lot of hammer force. A normal mild steel nail would have bent repeatedly under these circumstances. They are of a high-grade stainless alloy which should prove very resistant to corrosion. Previously, facing board nails would rust and leach this down the paint on the wall.Stainless steel hardware is considerably more costly than its mild steel counterparts. So, to justify this cost you need to have a special application which demands it, or just like to use the best. I found these nails to be a good value. I can't see any reason for them to receive low star reviews. They are at a good price point and do their job very well.
