Product Introduce
- Spiral point taps are also called screw-point taps, suitable for processing through-hole threads and deep-hole threads. Featured with high strength, fast cutting speed, clear tooth pattern and long life.
- Spiral point tap is a deformation of the straight flute tap. The cutting edge of the straight flute is slanted to form an angle, and the chips are discharged forward along the direction of feed. The through-hole threads should be preferentially drilling by spiral point taps.
- Made of high speed steel (HSS), threading tool is good for general purpose applications, offering high hardness, toughness and wear resistance.

General Selection Basis
Warm Tips
- Use with tapping oil to get higher quality thread and more durable taps. It is easy to cause damage for uneven force if the machine taps are used by hand.
- When selecting the cutting speed, please consider the tap material, type, thread teeth, hole shape, effective diameter of the bottom hole, processing material and cutting oil .
- Cutting oil is lubrication, cooling and anti-sticking. Be sure to select the appropriate cutting oil for complex tapping process.

Need a quick one-time tap? This worked great for me! Cut threads perfect on a steel car frame. I didn't have this thread pitch in my set, ordered this, delivered the next day, now the project is done. ...And now I have an M10/1.25 tap in my set.

Cuts and rotates really cleanly - had a tough job removing the remains of stainless bolts from a cast aluminum part after the bolts were drilled out. This tap did the trick and the aluminum threads were in great shape at the end!

Of course I didn't own this Tapp it's an odd size and of course I blew a brake line and rebuilt it from brake back to hub easy to use as long as you understand hoe to use and are experienced but yess fit my hub on the rear axle to help new connection go in smoothly and clean

I was just chasing the threads on new calipers after powder coat. It worked perfectly for that, but it felt sharp and now I have it if I need to make some M10x1.0 threads.

Used a short 7mm wrench. Tap broke with very little force. 12 mm X 1.25
