Feature
- It is only suitable for square hole drills and mortise tenon machine, not for hand drills, bench drills, etc.
- It is only suitable for wood products such as MDF, particle board, compressed version, plastic, wood (sandalwood, pine, ash, beech), etc., not for metal, glass, concrete, gypsum board material processing.
- The tenon machine cannot be used for milling grooves, only manual grooving.
- If there is no tenon machine, first use the drill core of a bench drill or electric drill to make a few more holes, and then use the square chisel of the square hole drill to strike (note that be slow when striking).

The only issue that I had was you had to be careful tapping the gouge. Being to forceful will chip the tip of the gouge

I had never used a bit like this before. It worked well in the drill press for drilling square holes for wrought iron banister spindles. I found that holding the square cutter sleeve with a 1/2" wrench (1/2" bit) helped keep it perfectly alligned.

The mortise chisel is well made but I failed to measure what size would fit in my mortiser and sadly it doesn’t fit. I’d buy more if they fit my specific mortiser
