My goal was to turn on an LED for a half-second or so when vibration is sensed. Using one of these to trigger a 555 works great. The 555 input is definitely fast enough to trigger on the ~2 ms contact of the 18010 and it makes an accurate, sensitive vibration detector. You do want to use some kind of comparator (in my case, the 555 input) to clean up the signal.

I bought them, to do an experiment with some Sonoff zigbee contact sensors, to detect blows on the vnetana. The truth is that they are very unreliable when making contact and they do not always work. I will look for something better.

One electrode on each switch melts too easily and makes soldering inconvenient. Otherwise, these switches work very well.

These are FAR from "high sensitivity." They are total crap. One of the leads is like a hair. It broken off the first one I tested.

I went through 3 of these before I figured out that it was arcing and welding itself shut. Seems like 5 volts and a few milli amps is too much, a small resistor solved the problem

I used these to automatically turn off devices I designed just by setting them down. Picking them up activates a contact which I use to power up my device.

These work as they're supposed to, but I didn't find them useful for my purposes.
