Arrived unscathed bubble wrapped in a box. Everything works as it should and seems well made (better than some other knockoffs I've encountered). Mechanics are tight and smooth. Adding a new zone in Spring, I have full confidence this sweat-on valve will last. Of course I'll update if it fails prematurely. 5*

3/4 inch pipe fits way too tight. Required sanding the pipe significantly and pounding with a hammer. No way to install this to existing pipe. Had to put it on the workbench to drive short sections of pipe into either end. It worked.

Only time will tell how reliable this ZCV is compared to oem/honeywell/name brand but outwardly it appears to be of sufficient quality, solid construction and it is functionally identical. A fair budget option for sure.

first valve arrived in a bubble pack and was damaged (metal housing was crushed and a screw was embedded in a cylinder)! second came in a box and was in great shape. the item worked perfectly when installed. one may want to consider packaging options.
