This heavy duty water tank filler reduces back pressure, cutting time in half, and has built in flow control to prevent tank pressurization. Instructions: attach SECURE-FILL to a garden hose, twist and lock SECURE-FILL to a fresh water fill spout, use built in on/off valve to control water flow, and finally, remove SECURE-FILL once the tank is full. Do not leave SECURE-FILL unattended. Turn the water off as soon as the tank is full.

I love this thing. It keeps the hose locked in when I’m filling my water tank. The cap that locks it in is also vented.

You should secure the tube to the top adapter to prevent the tube from coming off in your fresh water tank. I did that based upon reviews. It could come off easily. Otherwise, it's a time saver and makes the fill process much easier.

This filler works very well for hands free filling of your fresh water tank. It securely locks in place while filling. Our camper has a B & B water connection, as shown in the picture. If your connection is a different brand it may not work. The service manager at my RV dealer tried it on a different brand and while the hose for the white cap that locks on was too big. Be sure to put a clamp on the hose to prevent it from coming loose. I used a 1/2†PEX clamp.

I want to like this filler - brass valve, decent barb fitting, reasonable hose. It's sturdy, reasonably well made and - again - I particularly like that even the shutoff valve handle is brass.But some of the shortcomings are hard to overlook. The 'locking' mechanism doesn't really want to hold it in place (hard to screw on and get it to say), though that's more a function of the filler neck threads. I like the holes in the cap (one more way to release pressure, such that you don't over pressure the fresh tank). I think the biggest challenge is that this filler reduces water volume (and increases water velocity) fairly significantly. I'll get some hose on vs hose off gal/min measurements, but I can tell you it takes significantly longer to fill the 60gal fresh tank with it on (vs just a cut down garden hose).

Once turned on tight it stays in place to fill your motorhome. For our model the filler tube was to long so we took it off and cut some off the straight end. After a couple of tries it was a good fit. It saves blow back if you don't fill to fast.

I learned about this product when I was searching YouTube for a solution to the constant backflow problem when I'm trying to fill the water tank in my camper. I swear I was getting more water all over the driveway than in the actual tank and it was so frustrating. As soon as I saw this product being tested, I came straight to Amazon and ordered it. I'm not even exaggerating, the first time I used this to fill my tank there was absolutely no backflow and my 30 gallon tank was full in no more than 15 minutes.

Wish I would have gotten this years ago. If your tired of your hose falling out of the filler neck this is a good option. I would buy again
