  • Preheat grill or oven to 400°F
  • Soak wraps in hot water for 5 minutes
  • Add your favorite meat or vegetables
  • Roll up wrap (with the grain) and tie with included twine.
  • Cook until done and enjoy!

Cedar Grilling Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cedar Grilling Wraps
  • 2 Chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 slices Jack Cheese
  • 1/2 Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • Small handful of Cilantro
  • Salt & Pepper

Cedar Wrapped BBQ Chicken

Total Time: 30 minutes Servings: 4

Directions:

  1. Soak the Cedar Wraps in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven or grill to 400°F.
  3. Place chicken breasts on Cedar Wrap then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Smother chicken with BBQ sauce, cheese, red onion, tomatoes and cilantro.
  5. Wrap it up and secure with twine.
  6. Grill for 10-15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked.
  7. Unwrap, top with more BBQ sauce and cilantro before serving.

I have not attempted using these to wrap foods, I use them to cook salmon on the grill. I soak them then can put 2 pieces of salmon on each one, I don't flip them, and they cook up great, tender and I have NO MESS, CLEAN UP or flair ups.I'm about to buy more. I don't get a real ceder-y taste or smell, but they're great just the same.

This was thicker than I realized it would be but I was not disappointed. After I used these I throw them into the fire pit. Honestly if you’re looking to up your grilling skills these are a must.

I grill my salmon on these on my green egg. I submerge these in the sink for an hour or so and then throw the salmon on them and put them on a hot grill. I use a digital thermometer and take them off at 135 deg F. They continue to cook to 145 when I serve them, still on the plank. The cedar flavor boils up thru the wood, permeating the fish. All the wood sides are charred. Guests love it.

We really love to grill during the summer and salmon is a favorite in the household. We have used cedar grilling wraps before but could not find our regular brand. Decided to give these a try. Not terribly impressed. They do instill flavor into the meat, but the sheets are relatively small and do not cover a larger piece of salmon. I've had to use 2 wraps and 2 ties on one piece before. In my opinion the wraps are more brittle than other brands and prone to breaking. I will continue to use this pack but likely would not purchase again.

My husband is a grill master and this is his go-to for smoked salmon on the grill. Gives our fish a some good flavor. We soak the wood prior to using it on the grill. Absorbs water easy and holds the temperature really well.

Incomplete - bought 2 items with 20 pieces each and received one with 16 and one with 17. AND, the description is 5" x 8". I received: 5" x 5" !!! Had to return, not buying again. Not recommended.
