I got some geodes for my 8 year old granddaughter and the hammer and screwdriver was not getting the job done. These are the perfect tools for the job and allow her to safely crack them open herself.

I needed to redo some bathroom ceramic floor tile that we’re doing as a DIY project, kind of learning as I go. I ordered these chisels and they were indispensable in popping off the crooked tiles and breaking off the hard-as-a-rock mortar. It was very handy having the different sizes, including the tiniest one. Great quality and a great price! Pro tip: don’t skip the protective eyewear. Also, leather gloves make the going easier on your hands.

My small chisels have been used so much they are flat at this point, and I am tired of sharpening them. Besides I think they are passed the hardening. I don't use them much so just needed a small set for the just in case needs. This small assortment of smaller chisels is great and I am happy to have them in my tools.They come with a good enough edge to them so nothing really needed there. And the ends do meet the advertised widths. I think the shafts might be even a touch bigger than my older set. At least for the 5/8 chisel, maybe not for the small 3/8.My only comment would be a better little holder for them. That way they aren't banging around loosely in the toolbox and potentially ruining the edges. I don't think the paint will last long but my old ones weren't painted to begin with so no loss there. At least for now i can find them easily.

I needed to chisel out mortar to remove and replace an old electrical box outside. I used all three of these cold chisels to remove various sized chunks of the mortar and was able to get it all out cleanly. I may never use them again, but I like having them around just in case.Well worth the money for what I needed to do.

These chisels worked perfect for scraping BBs off of welds. I had to be careful though cause they’re super sharp. We’ll buy again definitely

These heavy duty chisels are designed for stone, concrete or similar materials. They are truly heavy duty but they are a bit smaller then I had anticipated them to be. This does not diminish from their function but does determine to a certain extent what types of projects they are best suited for. Nevertheless, overall these are useful tools for the proper application.
