Just changed my valve seals on my 2008 Frontier and this was the perfect tool. Saved so many headaches of trying to get them out some other way. They are well built and grip the seals strong. Just a little twist and pull straight out.Worth every penny!

Working on 2.5L Volvo head, removing valve stem seals. These pliers are great. The $150 pliers have nothing over these. These were only $10. The steel is hardened and the ends have plenty of bite. Strong and solid. I am so pleased with their performance. Buying any other stem seals pliers for a higher price is just throwing your money away. FYI - I’m a very experienced home mechanic.

Used this to replace valves on a audi tt, after struggling with needle nose pliers. It was extremely tight inside the exhaust valve chamber but worked. Took the seals out with ease. The intake were larger and the tool gripped really well. 100 percent worth the buy.

Easy to remove valve stem seals on 2006 Camry 2AZ-FE. Twisting back and forth while pulling up and out seemed to work best. I’d read that other people complained about the pliers slipping off the valve stem seals but I never experienced that except when I didn’t make sure the pliers were fully gripping the seal at the base. Made this part of the job very easy. I don’t anticipate ever doing this job again so this seems like a one time use tool but the savings from DIY compared to a shop was well worth it to me.

These do exactly what their advertised to do: remove the valve stem seals. However, they're a little difficult to grip, especially with greasy/oily hands. They could benefit from plastidip on the handles.

Die Zange ist sehr schwergänig trotz schmieren des Gelenks.Die Ausführung ist sehr grobschlächtig für kleine Ventilschaftdichtungen ungeeignet.

Ich habe mir die Zange bestellt, da ich hobbymäßig oft an Motoren schraube. Bisher habe ich die Schaftdichtungen immer mit einer Spitzzange gezogen. Leider ist das oft ein Gefummel, da man durch die Form der Zange nur einen Teil der Dichtung erwischt.Mit dem Schaftdichtungs Zange kann man die ganze Dichtung auch in einem engen Schacht erreichen und problemlos ziehen und auch setzen. Gerade das Setzen finde ich seht praktisch, da man die neue Dichtung ja nicht beschädigen möchte.Die Zange ist qualitativ nicht sehr hochwertig, die Greifmulden sind nicht 100 parallel und die Gelenke sind nicht sehr hochwertig ausgeführt, aber sie tut ihren Zweck.
