I play the Bb clarinet as well as the bass clarinet. This is the only ligature I will use.

My granddaughter has had to occasionally share her bass clarinet at high school. She now has her own mouthpiece, case, cap, ligature and so on that replaced those suppied by the high school when she received them.She really likes having her own personal mouthpiece and accessories that are of better quality for playing and keeping her instruments clean and properly stored.

The ligature is ideal as it allows the reed to vibrate more freely. I normally play tenor or alto sax and double on the bass clarinet, so anything that makes playing it easier is definitely desired. It surprised me on how effective it was in improving my tone. I bought the same ligature for my alto.

This pair of Ligature and Cap is just good for my Vandoren mouthpiece. My previous ligature is not longer enough. The ligature is easy to use and fix the reed properly.

I switched to the M/O from the leather Vandoren ligature. I highly recommend it as it helped center my tone in every register. It makes the reed vibrate in such a way that the instrument naturally resonates and sings.
