when hooked to a variable speed motor the foot switch don't control the speed it is only off and on!

This pedal isn’t truly “pressure sensitive variable speedâ€. Haven’t hooked up a meter to determine output, but it seems like a 3 position switch: Off, Low, High.Otherwise seems sturdy and well built.

It does produce variable current so my flex shaft works fast, slow and all the speeds in between.
