Came well packed, every piece in perfect condition. Included all required parts & labels. Instructions easy to follow & easy to put together. Very sturdy comes with floor protectors. Cushion is thick & comfy, plenty of storage space under cushion. Beautiful wood coloring, I wish they offered a brown cushion with this rustic wood look-I like a pop of color:) Height is perfect matches a kitchen chair. Looks beautiful in entryway. Only con: Not good for winter, barely fits a winter boot & no shoe that is higher than a tennis shoe.

This product looks very nice - not cheaply made. It was fairly simple to put together and, once it was all together it is a very solid piece of furniture. I had planned to put this in my mudroom (backdoor area) but instead decided to place it near my front door. As I said, it looks nice and is very functional. I put my shoes in the shoe area; snow boots in the larger area to the right and can place my gloves, mittens, car keys and purse (I use a small purse only) in the shelf just under the cushioned lid (which is also quite comfortable to use when slipping my shoes on and off!

This is solid. My husband uses in the morning to put his work boots on and he likes it. The show storage is really only good for tennis shoes. The big cubby won’t fit two boots side by side. The lid lifts for storage and that’s great for storing winter hats, gloves and scarves. Super easy to put together. The color matches my furniture really well.

So functional for the front doorway. has a cute seat to sit while putting on shoes. All hardware was easy to assemble. It is sturdy enough and holds 6 pairs of shoes. great value

Easy to put together & very sturdy. Perfect for my mud room to sit & take shoes on & off. Holds 1 pair of Ugg type boots & 4 to 6 pairs of shoes.

I was surprised by how easy it was to put together. The instructions were good. The pre drilled holes aligned properly. It looks better than I thought it would. It is sturdy. The shelves hold three pair of shoes each.

The item is shorter than I expected, but it looks good in the entry of our small apartment. Assembly took a while with good photo instructions. The storage bench is very useful. I do find that the hinges make the back board flex a bit so I am careful with opening it too far back.

I had a large bench before and like this one way better. It is more compact and has a great under seat storage. The look is exactly what I wanted and functions as I like. I keep all my dog stuff leashes etc in the bench. It was packaged nicely and easy to put together. Secure sturdy.

After reading reviews where people had trouble putting this together, I ordered it anyhow as it suited our needs better than any others that were available. Realizing there could be issues with assembly I was forewarned by these reviews and prepared to adapt.Turned out, from the time it was delivered (a day early) ‘til I put it in the entrance all completed, it was under 2 hours including cleaning up the packaging and tools.The instructions are precise, the predrilled holes exact, and all hardware included as well as a “spare†one of everything.What might have got others to go off, is there is a picture of an electric drill on the tools required list. The pressboard and plastic screw inserts are too fragile for a drill. A hand screwdriver is enough to do the job without damaging anything and hand tightening seems best.The bench is sturdy, (not real wood but looks presentable).The 4 stars is only because of this. No surprise. The bench is too reasonably priced to be solid wood.

The bench is so nice and classy. Elevates my house. The wood is finished very nicely. Perfect bench for my the door and has storage for 5 pairs of shoes and storage under the bench too
