Great brushes. I just wish they were retractable. Swift delivery though

Just got these today and I totally love these. Pretty small, so very good for traveling gigs, and the brushes sound good for jazzy tunes.

I'm gonna be using these to play a little washboard percussion and occasionally a cajón. It was between these and retractable ones; I decided to go with these because of the wooden handles. They look well made and do the job. I can't vouch for durability yet because I just received them, but they look like they will last.

I teach elementary school students with Autism (ASD). My students have many different kinds of sensory needs and I strive to meet as many of them as I can, as often as I can. As a result, I have a very sensory rich and diverse classroom. Twice each week my students, staff, and I sit down on the floor and play various percussion style instruments together. There is no rhyme or reason to it, everyone just plays how and what they would like to play, as long as they are showing respect to the instruments and their classmates. Some play specific melodies, while others just play and bang away. My students absolutely LOVE it! Our classroom music time is a fun, joyous, and liberating activity that we all look forward to and relish participating in each week! Thank you for sharing this wonderful music time resource with us!

I had brushes like these that I have used for about ten years (I play one day every week). Some of the wires we’re getting bent but still usable. I couldn’t find them anymore in the music stores in my area. I didn’t think about Amazon selling them. I’m so glad they do. They are worth every penny.

These brushes were so nice that it genuinely inspired me to play more often with them instead of sticks. They feel and handle great, just like a pair of sticks. Very glad I purchased these.

They are not retractable but you can keep the brush part in a stick sleeve so they dont get all bent up in your bag. I like the wood handles because you can flip them when doing samba or any patterns in a song for rim clicks. Good tool for the toolbox

These brushes are fantastic - a huge improvement from the rubber sheath-style I was using before. Great to flip to get the wood sound and the metal tip is near for tight cymbal hits. storage is tricky as I am predicting that the nice fanning won't be preserved in my stick bag.... maybe I'll need some sort of special cover for them.

Bristles started falling out of one brush after very little use, once they start falling out they do so at an ever increasing rate until with less than a few hours use, there are none left. Very poorly made, they should be in a pound shop. Its very easy to design brushes so that bristles cannot fall out, I have no idea why Vater cannot, terrible.

Personalmente (ho le mani piccole) ritengo le Regal Tip 550w il top del genere per il jazz, ma queste se la giocano. Appena un po' più pesanti.
