I purchased this product to stop my leaking water heater after doing an extensive review of what caused the problem. Having recently lost my husband I'll admit, the thought of fixing a temperature pressure valve scared me. But then I thought, do I pay $2,000 to have someone replace the water heater or purchase the temperature pressure valve for $20 and try to fix it myself? I followed the instructions on YouTube and I FIXED IT! It wasn't that hard, and it's working great.

Excellent quality and does the job. These fittings can run you up to $100 and over at big brand box stores. Don't empty your wallet for something more expensive. They all do the same thing.

Ideal compact service valve formfactor with largest service valve handle than most any well known brands that can be important for performing upkeep to maintain water heater warranties. If it is hard to do then it will tend to not get done. Minor drawback is that the relief valve port is not bored out as full port. Some may want the port at free flow when it is needed the most in an over pressure condition or used instead as a manifold application with full port flow.

Installed it, turned the water back on, immediately full tilt out of this thing. my water pressure sits high, in the 120s, nowhere near the 150psi rating of this. Went to the HD and bought something else for near the same price that actually worked.
