I purchased this VDO instrument to replace a 28 year old version of the same gauge (date code 07 '86). The previous owner used the wrong pressure sender and it ruined the original gauge (always use VDO senders with VDO gauges for best accuracy). Many replacement products suffer in terms of quality and draftsmanship, not VDO. This product was just as crisp and well-made as the gauge it replaced. I will be replacing all my gauges with the Vision series because these are no-nonsense clear indicators and perform as designed.

This works with the VDO sender. The only unexpected detail is, the scale marks are irregular - they are NOT evenly spaced like the picture on Amazon. You have to wonder if it's a misprint.I didn't check the pressure with a mechanical gauge but it does warn me when my oil pressure approaches valve-clatter level.

This is a high quality gauge. The best part is it perfectly7 matches the other gauges in my classic Porsche.

Great guage for the price, expected a much cheaper product but build quality is nice and has an easy to use mounting system. Comprehensive instructions and clean look. Would buy another VDO gauge for sure!

Every time I add gauges to any or my cars I look at vdo gauges first. Excellent quality great prices. Engineered to work! Extremely happy love the classic styling. Looks almost identical to the factory vdo gauges u find in the older Porsche 911's

I bought this gauge. In order to test i just connect it to 12V but the sendor not be connected。At last I found the gauge pointer rotate to the right maximum and touch to the border。Any one can tell me why and if this will cause any damage?By the way, with the same method to test,the voltage gauge and water temperature gauge I bought at the same time is not the case and the gauge pointer keep still until I connect it to the sendor.

Arrived quickly and installed easily. Registers the oil pressure. It is a nice quality gauge.
