I used it and it stretched the exhaust pipe I was working approximately 1/8 th of a inch. Worked out good.

First time I used the medium size to expand piece of pipe exhaust pipe three of the expander tips busted right off and it's made out of cheap alloy material. I've had one for about 40 years prior to buying this set the only reason I replaced it is the bolt got lost in transit moving tool boxes around. Would not buy this product again.

The frailty of the tool components. I didn't use impact or powered tools. It's completely destroyed, this kit, or the medium and large expanders, and the box thing keeping the box closed falls off. It's a good idea. I used one from harbor freight, the medium, that nearly worked. I managed to get my exhaust connected though, with a outside butt connector and slightly splitting the expanded end I'd created and the catalytic converter inlet pipe; it was weathered and cleaning it helped to reduce its size. you can't start with a medium and the use the larger, because the tool fails in the splines instead of the base wedges [they crumble]. A tool steel material rather than, these alloy type components is necessary and the medium immediately stripped it's thread, but I frankensteined it's parts to attempts another edge with the previously destroyed medium expander that I mentioned.

Use only on thin wall only!!! Tool threads striped out on first try. Could not remove from tube. Expander was broke once it was out. I have never used tubing thinner than what i have.

I was excited to used this on my truck build but the first time I used it one of the rubber bands broke off and the threads were a sloppy fit so they started to cross thread, wasn't very impressed but it works when your in a pinch

This stripped immediately, product is such crap there is no way any legitimate company can build this without knowing it’s useless, it would cost pennies to make it actually minimum quality.I don’t buy a cheap tool on Amazon thinking they’re just as good as higher priced ones but I was expecting it to do what it was designed for one time at least.Wishing well deserved bad karma on all involved making this junk.
