Recordable DVD blanks have become a commodity. Quality throughout the industry is relatively high because there are actually only a few manufacturers, so for the most part you are buying into a brand name or lack thereof. The Verbatim name has been around for a long time, while the company itself has gone through its ups and downs. The company is now a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a respected name. As for the DVDs, they are as advertised. Relatively inexpensive, write dependably in my 16x unit and the thermal surface takes printing well. Good value, especially if you have Amazon Prime to cover the shipping cost.Jerry

Have been very pleased with these they work great in my Rimage PrismPlus! printer. Have had very few rejected dvds in our duplicators. I wish that people who rated this product low would fix their ratings as it looks as if every one tried to use on an InkJet printer not a thermal printer.

These blank thermal-label DVDs come vacuum-wrapped in heavy plastic wrap instead of a hard case, which I really like, because I have empty disc containers that either have to be thrown away - or can now be reused with this kind of smart packaging.So far there hasn't been a defective one in this stack, but it seems there is always one or two defective discs in any package of discs, so if I come across a couple defective ones in this stack, it won't surprise me, and I most likely will.My many-years-old Casio thermal disc printer prints directly onto the white face of these thermal label discs and the result is a clean crisp printing, which directly indicates the quality of the thermal label side coating on the disc is superb. My fear: I hope my Casio disc printer keeps working for a long time, because I cannot find a replacement for it anywhere on the net.

When they arrived, I was worried. The white printable area felt way too smooth to be printable. I burned several for a project just to find out that my Epson Artisan 725 just sprays ink on top of them. Absolutely terrible. I've used hundreds of other discs for various projects and I've never run into this before. Absolute worst. I would NOT recommend.

I would like to say thanks to Verbatim for providing this product on the market. I looked on many websites looking for and comparing prices for this item. By far Amazon provided the best price once again. Thank you Amazon and all their associates and vendors that you all work with. I always pass on the great deals that I find from Amazon on to my friends and co-workers. This is one more item that i will recommend purchasing from Amazon.

It copied alright any back-up data and videos, but it won't print and dry epson Ink. I just don't know in other printer ink brand, if it can print to this Disc. I had to find out if I can still return this item since it's already been open and less one disc that I used and tried. Otherwise, this will be just a waste of money. You can only manually level this disc with a permanent marker. I won't recommend this product for those who want a back-up copies with a nice print level on their disc.

No problems at all. Burn speed is plenty fast, printable surface is clean and smooth. Doesn't come on a spindle, so be sure to have a way of keeping them tidy until you get through them all. I've kept old spindles on hand so this wasn't a problem for me.

These are my go to dvd discs. I've used this brand for close to 15 years give or take and have discs that old that are still readable.I generally don't use anything else but have used other brands. I highly recommend verbatims for data that matters.

First time I try Verbatim White Thermal for video, and I'm extremely disappointed. Basically all I have are coasters. The ones I tried to record at 4X failed immediately. From the ones I recorded at 8X, a little less than half also failed during recording, and the successfully recorded ones only play on computers, not on dvd players. I love Verbatim DL, but I'll never buy their DVD-Rs again.
