This QUOAOT Vertical Wall Planter seems to be very well-made. The wooden frame looks sturdy and the self-watering system appears to be well-designed. We received the planter and it was exactly as described.Unfortunately, we ultimately decided we didn't have a suitable location for it in our home and didn't end up using it.Pros: * High-quality construction * Attractive design * Includes self-watering systemCons: * Not needed for our current needsOverall: If you're looking for a stylish and functional vertical garden, this planter seems like a good option. We just weren't able to find the right spot for it in our home.

Very nice planter for wall. I bought one to see what it was like and then ordered another. I didn’t realize it was self watering so haven’t even used that feature yet. I put succulents in mine. Looks really pretty

When you run out of room for plants on surfaces, it's time to start putting them on the wall! This box holds 4 small plants and came with plenty of hanging hardware to put it up. The planter sections are diagonal, so it'll help with water spillage (if any, I selected low moisture and low light plants) and also is great for trailing/vining plants. The plastic insert that contains the planters is legit and made well. The only bummer was the wood part/box frame was cheap/fuzzy. I had to sand it down quite a bit to get it to take the stain so it'd match the rest of the bathroom decor.

Just a couple flaws. I ended up using this for air plants because the effectiveness of plating with soil was too much. Once a plant is in one of the cups it is incredibly difficult to take out to look at the roots or change out plants. Watering was also too much of a mess. Because it’s slanted I couldn’t get it to stop dripping. With air plants it works very well though!

This wall planter comes with the following items:1. 4x hexagonal 3' plant pots. Each pot comes with a cotton cord that dangles at the bottom and can be used to whisk away water from the water reservoir (more on this in a minute).2. The wall planter itself. This is a sturdy piece of green plastic that fits 4 hexagonal planters at an angle. The back has several holes that allows you to mount it to the wall in a sturdy fashion. The planter is designed to have 2 holes at the front where you can water the plants. The water goes to a reservoir. There are 2 reservoirs - one below the top 2 plants, one below the bottom 2 plants. They are connected, but you can use a cork to stop the flow of water between them.3. The wooden frame.Do not use the installation instructions. This is a fairly standard type of wall planters. Many other companies use them. However, the company for this one attempted to add frame hangers to the back of the wooden frame. MISTAKE! Do not use them! That frame mount cannot support the weight of the wall planter and plants and water. They will break (as some reviewers have mentioned). The good news is that these planters were designed to be mounted. This is done NOT through the wooden frame, but rather through the plastic planter itself. There are 4 holes in the back of the planter purposefully done to allow the planters to be affixed to the wall. I only used 2 (the top 2) since the plants are not that heavy and I wanted to spare my wall. I used plaster anchors for 10 lbs and small screws that macthed the size of the holes (I forget which size it was, but just measure them and go to a hardware store to purchase them). Having done that, my planter was securely affixed to the wall. I then just slid the wooden frame over it (since it's just a shell to decorate, not a sturdy piece of the planter). And finally I added the plants.Quality?Well, it's so-so. This is not as good of a product as the Steady Home planters that look very similar. The Steady Home ones come in a pretty box (that makes it a nice gift) -whereas this one come in a standard plain cardboard box. The Steady Home planter is more polished and black; the one here is more rugged and green . The instructions for installing the Steady Home planters are complete, with screws and chart for drilling holes at the right place; and as I mentioned this one had incorrect installation instructions that will result in the frame breaking. That said, it may not be as polished as the Steady Home one, but it is a decent quality product, and I like the wooden frame. It's cheap wood (not varnished), but the wood finish gives it a certain pizzazz and I like that it matches my Ikea Billy bookcase. I also like the nice contrast of the light wood with the green of the planter and the plants - it looks natural and is a nice colour scheme. How to water the plantsThe answer is... carefully! There are 3 ways to do it:1) The way you are meant to do it is to simply fill the water reservoirs about once a week. The problem is that there is no way to gauge how much water is in there and it often produces spills. Still, the idea of a reservoir is a good one, as it prevents having to water the small plants continually.2) Take out the pots and water them elsewhere.3) Add water to the top soil of each plant... Which takes time and almost always results in spill, but it can be a good option when one plant needs not TLC...Overall - I like these wall planters. It gives my walls a foresty feel that makes me feel outdoors. Installation was fairly easy (though again - do not follow the instructions in the box, use the ones I described above), and you can host a variety of small plants in a fun arrangement...
