Easy to attach: just one screw holds it up. Place in a shady spot if outside. This has an adjusting screw on the back but I didn’t need to use it: showed perfect temp right away. Looks very nice, and for me (I think average vision) I can see the numbers from about 8 feet away. I put it in my porch to look at it from inside the house. Happy customer.

An item with one job...accurately display the temperature. This one fails miserably. Reads 75* at all times...inside when it's 62* and even outside in arctic temps.

I wanted a thermometer I could read using one of my security camera's from my office desk monitor. When I was curious about the outside temperature I could just bring it up on my security system monitor at my desk. I liked these because they are the perfect size (5 inch diameter) and to be able to read clearly with the black numbers on a white face with the red temperature needle using the security camera. This way I don't have to leave my desk to read the one from my kitchen window out on the deck.I wanted one which reads to -40 as I live in Canada and many available thermometers do not go this low. I use celsius when visualizing outside temperatures and fahrenheit inside my house on my furnace settings because you get smaller calibrations for setting your inside furnace temperature. This has both readings.The other feature I love is you are able to calibrate these to other thermometers. I have the one outside thermometer on my deck and I simply set these beside each other. After 20 minutes I used the set screw on the back of this one and matched the reading on the deck thermometer. I have purchased two more for a couple rooms in my house to see what the temperatures are in rooms farther from the main thermostat. I have them both calibrated to the thermostat and can now accurately set my furnace if I am colder in one room. I will likely purchase one or two more in the future.These are a bit pricey, however I see these as quality made and are worth the extra cost. You have the option to use the small secure tight fitting stand which comes with it, or to hang it on a wall without the stand. These look great and I am very happy with these.

I’ve had it up for several weeks. Clean design.Easy to read with large Fahrenheit numerals(Celsius below in smaller font). Easier for seniors to read.

Using this thermometer in my conservatory. It is excellent, easy to see and very accurate. I have it standing on a small table. Very pleased with my purchase.

Good size, easy to read. Only item on my wish list is that they put Celsius temperature as the prominent number instead of Fahrenheit.
