The grinder would be easy for anyone who uses tools to assemble .The grinder is an excellent tool for general light to medium grinding.. Sits solidly on the bench with no movement even when not bolted to the table. The vibration is minimal and typical of good grinder. I have never seen a grinder run perfectly smooth from small to the industrial grinders I have used. One point about complaints regarding vibration. Dress the grinding wheels with a good grinding wheel dresser as the wheels wear down. . Out of round grinding wheels are the usual cause. of excessive vibration I use this grinder for fine dressing of tools, drill bits, using a fixture against the wheel to sharpen them as well as other medium to fine grinding. This grinder works perfectly light grinding. It is not a heavy duty machine but fine for general home and light to medium use around the shop. The grinder does take a about 15 seconds to fully turn on. It does coast after turn of for close to a minute. A light touch on the wheel with a piece of metal will stop it quicker. This isn't an industrial grade grinder with a inertia brake to stop the spin when turned off, very few light duty home grinders do. include that feature. The eye shields are made cheap but work OK. Someone might want to replace them with heavier eye shields.

Ordered this grinder because the other Vevor products I've bought were great for the price. First one came in and vibrated badly because shaft was not straight. Returned it and the replacement they sent worked great. The reason it got 4 stars is the tool guides are very flimsy sheet metal. I will weld some extra metal to them to sturdy them up. Great bench grinder for the price!

I purchased this grinder knowing that I only wanted to do light grinding. I have adapted a Harold Hall end mill sharpening fixture to it to grind HSS, and so far I have no complaints. However, I don't believe this grinder would hold up under a heavy load or a prolonged grind. It does get warm. The grinding wheels are only 16MM wide, and the tool rests are less than desirable. It is probably best suited for light duty work. It runs with little vibration, and it does what I need it to do with my modifications, and the price was right. I have no idea how durable the grinder will be.

This is one bad *$s grinder…..only tried it a couple of times and it blew me away. It is very powerful and quiet…..it will outlast me !!!!!

This grinder broke. I’ve had it on the badge for a year or so. I’ve only used it three times. And on the third time, it just stopped working. No signs of life. I’m a residential user so I don’t need one until I do. Would not recommend

This grinder has served me well enough, but wish it had a built in brake. It spins for some time after you turn it off. A brake feature is safer not too mention reduces noise factor sooner.

I needed a slower grinder, the ad says 1800 rpm, the tool says 2000, I don’t want 2000, it’s being returned and vevor is off my list, I hate false advertising !!The stones are a way to course for sharpening tools, all around poor set up
