I use this to weigh hay rations for horses. I place a plastic tub on the scale, Tare it, then fill the tub with hay to desired weight. It's light weight and can be moved around easily. I like the rechargeable battery feature. Has backlight, so display can be seen at distance and varying light conditions. Does not have auto shutoff, so if not plugged in will eventually drain battery. I left in on by mistake for a day and a half and it still worked afterwards for several days with out needing charge (turned off after use). I would say its construction is light weight, and probably wouldn't hold up well to abuse, but what do you expect for ~$80 US...? The keypad and display are a flat surface and are easy to clean. The keypad is a blister switch type. Annoyances: The power switch is kinda small; When powered on it defaults to Kg; It uses a power adapter and the wire is short and could be easily damaged. For my intended use it's a good value.

Ordered on Mar 22, 2024. Worked okay for 4 months. Now it's gone bad. I can put the same item on it 12 times in a row, and get 12 different weight readings, differing from 2 lb, to 22 lb off from each other. And when I remove all weight each time, it shows anywhere from 3 lb to 42 lbs still on it, and the total flickers around like something on the platform was fidgeting, but the platform is empty! Power off and on doesn't help, taking platform apart and cleaning doesn't help. Warranty is useless. Tried going to company support site, but it requires an order number to accept but won't accept an amazon order number. No phone number or email in evidence on vendor's site. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED!

I purchased this thinking a person could use it to be weighed, but that’s not the case it was for boxes to be weighed not people so I had to send it back, but it was very nicely made

I bought this to keep track of my dogs weight after changing their diets. It works really great, but it would be nice if it didn't always go straight to kilograms when it is turned on. It's not easy to keep a dog on the scale when trying to find the button to change to lbs. I always forget I need to change the setting until I have a dog on the scale.It is a pretty accurate scale as I did check my dogs weight the day I took them to the vet and there was only a 0.2lb difference.
