This is good solely for transferring. It doesn't do any dust collection itself. But I hook one end to a bag and the other one to my planer

If all youre looking for is dust hose and dont care what happens next, this is for you. If youve ever experienced a static explosion, youll know why I'm writing this. I prefer to ground the hose wherever possible to prevent static build up while the vacuum is running. The winding in the hose doesnt allow for this. First, the wire is sub 20ga, second it wont take solder, and third you cant get a wire nut to grip to it. Since I dont want to burn the house down, I'm ripping this hose out and tossing it. And for those of you that think I'm full of it, its not a matter of if, but a matter of when a static explosion happens. I've had one, so I'm a bit gun shy.
