Our pipe expander is excellent for expanding mild steel and aluminum alloy exhaust pipes to make perfect exhaust seals with smaller diameter piping.
Seven Size Available
Two mild steel expanders and five aluminum alloy expanders are included for many types of pipes. In addition, the exhaust stretcher offers various collets for a broad expansion range from 1-5/8" to 4-1/4".
Easy Operation
You just need to choose a proper collet, and next clamp the pipe, and then expand the pipe. Use a 1/2" or 3/4" impact wrench will save more effort.

It work exactly like it's supposed, you have to pack that bearing with good grease. Throw that tube of lube away and use Lucas thick and tacky spread it on everything, the wedge, threads, washer, inside of pipe, everywhere. You can't spit on it and expect it to work people. Update, I have used this on multiple thickness of exhaust pipe and it never fails but you have to dip the thing in grease every time you use it.

Worked great. Lube it everywhere to prevent breaking. Torque it then un torque pull out just a little and torque again and repeat if needed. Saw a YouTube video.

Boxed up and sent back after 5 minutes. Damaged exhaust tubing and needed to buy another piece. After reading reviews I figured that people just weren't lubing the tool and packing the bearing so I did. The tool still didn't half preform to half of what it should and the bolt had stripped threads after the first use. A lot of times I have read bad reviews and gotten the item anyway and realized that the people were just misusing the items, but this is not one of them. Waste of time/money having to take it back. On the good side the refund was quick and painless. Probably because they have done it so much with this tool. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time buying this item. Sincerely , Uncle Ben

I greased the bearing before using and lubed the bolt before each use. The threads seized after 4 expands of 2 1/4" exhaust pipe.

Very easy to use, had a 2 1/4†pipe and used a 10 Ton hydraulic pump hole punch tool, now I can make any size adapters, for exhaust work, muffler, catalytic converter installation.

Works for standard exhaust pipe and aluminum intercooler pipe but wont hardly budge stainless!
