I bought this mag drill taking a chance on the brand and the price point, I couldn’t be more impressed with the tool quality, and I have found so many ways to use it, the assortment of features and accessories are very high quality. I highly recommend

This is a nice unit . As built it works well. but its is not a large milwaukie Mag drill It clamps great. drills very well and the variable speed control is nice. drilling slow is best as it does not burn out the tool.Short comings. the switch for Left and right turn are backwards. Comon issue i guess according to other posts. The standard chuck which comes with it is almost unusable . when you install the chuck. there is no room left for any drill bit of almost any size. this is a huge drawback. you need a 3 inch drill bit.The unit has good power. I was able to drill nice clean holes in thick steel. 1 inch in diameter. with the Annualar bits. These work great actually. The method of holding the annular bits is not the best. It likes to fall out or not engage or disengage easily. While I like the unit. i just wish they had made the vertical travel better as then you could use a normal drill bit. It came with a set of Metric Annular drill bits I need standard ones. The unit functions nice. but just be aware of these shortcommings. Still a nice unit. I do not mind turning the switch left to go clockwise. but other than that just dissapointed I cannot use a standard drill bit . it would be nice to drill a pilot hole occassinally.

I returned this magdrill. Instead I purchased a Vevor 1500w 500RPM variable speed MagDrill with Weldon shank plus 13 and 6 annular cutter sets. I didn't drill metal with this 1400w 6 cutter unit. Buttons, attachments and drill worked. Testing 12mm Drill bit in chuck had significant (1 cm or 1/4") tip wobble. Annular cutters were exactly sized or within a few hundredths of mm. I think Vevor site also called the Nitto One Touch system a Universal shank for their annular cutter set.800 rpm is pretty fast for 1"+ cutters. Electronic variable speed worked, but I don't know how it would behave under load at reduced RPM.I purchased this bundle for $350, but have seen price vary a lot. The Vevor site and duplicated Amazon listings with seemingly exactly the same bundles/units with slightly different specs make shopping around confusing but worth it. Listings are largely lacking model numbers, shank style name and consistent stats. This 1400w magdrill was relatively compact, moderate weight and priced well with annular cutters. The Vevor 1500w magdrill is 2x the weight without the useful dovetail sliding gimmick this 1400w has, but has the weldon shank without needing an adaptor. Nitto -Weldon adaptors are available for $30-90 but I found the $30 options only after completing the return. Searching for Weldon/Universal Adaptors didn't turn up anything affordable or locally availabe.Weldon says their two set screw connection is more stable and leads to less wear than the quick connects. I don't know if this is true, but as a weekend hobbyist, I'm not needing to swap bits often enough for the quick connect to matter. Weldon shanks are much more plentiful locally and online. At 1/4 the price of name brand mag drills, this is not a big investment to get basic, occasional use out of. I wish the product listings were more explicit with model numbers, stats, and features.

This drill is light weight, but has held up to heavy use in an industrial environment. Very pleased with the quality and durability.

Received this mag drill several days earlier than expected and put it to use right away. First thing I noticed was the lube tubing had a sharp kink it it got worse as the drill head was lowered to the work piece. Not that big a deal since I have some leftover 1/4" tubing from another project. A second thing I noticed was the annular cutter pin did not have a spring to help push out the slug once the hole had been drilled. I didn't notice this at first, and when I placed the drill for the next hole the drill actually skipped due to the first slug still remaining in the bit. Once I figured that out, every other hole went smoothly. One complaint I noticed with others was the chuck adapter wouldn't fit into the Nitto quick disconnect. I didn't have this problem...the chuck adapter went in just fine and locked into place. All in all, very satisfied with the purchase right now...did what it should. You may need to tighten the three screws that secure the drill to the standard...mine were loose enough that once I inserted the three handles the drill's weight would cause the head to lower itself. I haven't tried the lube reservoir yet, so can't comment on that.

well when i got this Vevor magnetic drill, I thought I would try it out. When i put it on a piece of metal, to my suprise I could pick it up with my hand with the magnet on, the i put the drill chuck in and the chuck could push it off the piece also, the drill does not stay in place when the handle is released, always falling down, in my opinion this drill is defective, poor quality control, I was really looking forward to putting this drill to good use. it is being returned.
