Using this for paint prep on carbon steel pipe only con I have is if it gets any in even pressure the belt will pop off could use a stronger spring on it.

Its a dedicated tool for a specific job, if you have the need to sand bar stock, tube, or the like then it is worth the investment. It seems to be same as the one that doesn't come with the motor. The motor has a locking power switch so you don't have to hold it down, and speed control. I wish they made a bench mount for it to quickly lock it in and use it as a bench belt sander... Making such a mount will probably be one of my next projects for myself.It is a little loud compared to say a Milwaukee angle grinder

Not heavily used but enough to understand it's limits.Works great on larger diameter parts but you will need to be careful on smaller diameters. Don't use to aggressive sanding belts if you just want to polish, it will gouge.

Heute wurde dieser Rohrbandschleifer bei mir angeliefert. Leider kam es im Vorfeld, aufgrund der falschen Beschreibung zu einiger Verwirrung.Ich lebe in Deutschland und brauche daher ein Gerät das mit 230 Volt Spannung betrieben wird. Leider ist mir erst einen Tag nach Auslösung der Bestellung aufgefallen, dass die angegebene lange Lieferzeit darauf hindeuten könnte, dass das Gerät aus UK kommen könnte und nicht für den Betrieb in Deutschland gedacht ist. Ein genauerer Blick in die Produktbeschreibung hat dann auch ergeben, dass das angebotene Gerät für 120 V Spannung ausgelegt sein soll. Der Versuch die Bestellung noch zu stornieren, wurde leider abgelehnt, da das Gerät schon versandt war.Welche Überraschung, als das Paket heute, 13 Tage früher als angekündigt, bei mir eintraf. Im Paket liegt genau so ein Bandschleifer, wie ich ihn haben wollte, mit 230V Betrieb.Im Bundle mit den 100 Schleifbändern, ist dies ein sehr günstiges Angebot.Er ist optisch komplett baugleich mit dem Rohrbandschleifer von Wiltec, den ich einen Tag nach der ursprünglichen Bestellung noch geordert hatte, um die vermeintliche Falschbestellung zu ersetzen. Daher werde ich den Wiltec Bandschleifer nun zurück senden.Sobald ich die Zeit finde das Gerät im Einsatz zu testen, werde ich weiter Bericht erstatten.
