This is a fantastic product. Better in every way than a regular straight ladder, and easily stowable.Very sturdy, yet reasonably light to carry. Very tall. And so easy to transport and stow.A couple notes :(1) It comes with hooks for the top. The instructions don't tell you how to attach the hooks. You need to pop off 2 rubber plugs in the top corners, to expose the hook attachment points, which is not easy. I just threw the plugs away, and leave the hooks permanently attached.(2) When collapsing the ladder stages, watch your hand positioning -- it's easy to crush your hand or strip your skin as the sections slide down.

This ladder does exactly what it claims to do. It is a compact and easily portable ladder that extents to 12.5 feet. The trade off for that portability is rigidity. When you use this ladder there is a lot of bowing involved.I bought this ladder for it's portability. I didn't want to have to drive my truck 250 miles one way to work on my dads or my mother-in-laws house just because I needed a ladder. This easily fits in a car.This ladder is easy to use. You simply pull and extend it to the length you need. Just remember, as it gets taller it gets more and more bendy. It flexes a lot and I would not recommend you come anywhere close to the maximum weight rating. If you are uncomfortable climbing a rigid ladder I would not recommend one of these collapsible ladders.Lowering the ladder is both fun and scary. Hold it upright, push the release buttons in with both thumbs, and the ladder will do the rest. Keep your hands where the release buttons are! The first segment lowers slowly under air pressure and after that it all just collapses again, and very quickly too. Keep your hands clear!Overall this ladder is a great solution to the size problem ladders have. I have been using it a bit now and it's working just like it should. Would I use this every day if my job entailed climbing ladders a lot? Absolutely not. For occasional use, and easy portability it's fine. Just remember to expect that this ladder is going to bend and flex as you use it.

This is definitely not a construction ladder that you would want to use every day, but it is reliable, t is light and it stores very well.

2 month update :This ladder is DANGEROUS - DO NOT BUY!! It spontaneously collapses while you are on it! Sometimes the locks do not lock. It bends and flexes to a scary degree (I am about 1/2 recommended weight), it travels even on level surface, it is SCARY.To late to return it, but I will not use it anymore. $$$$ wasted.---- Initial Review ----I love this product BUT its a personal injury suit waiting to happen. Today I injured myself for the third time in the two weeks I have had this ladder.Problem is this thing does sometimes retract WHEN YOU ARE ON IT! So first couple of times I got some bumps and bruises I was extending the ladder partially with the unextended portion on the bottom. I checked that the rungs were locked with appropriate color code, but then you get halfway up and the thing starts to collapse. Scary and painful.So I thought I had it figured out. I left the unextended portion at the top of the ladder, definirely more stable this way. But today one of the top rungs is locked but kinda stuck, I am on the ladder, the thing starts to retract from the top and well .. we ladies have a bit more in some places than the gentlemen do.. think mammogram (complete with high pitched scream). Still painful hours later.So overall..good concept but scary and painful user experience.PS: Vevor, it would help if the HOW TO USE manual/video could be found on your website. Yes instructions come in the packaging, vision challenges could not read so tried to find online. No success there.

This is probably one of the best things I have ever gotten from Amazon. I have several extension ladders, but all of them are very cumbersome. I needed to paint the stairwell of my home, so I went to YouTube to see if there were any tips or tricks. Sure enough, someone was using a telescoping ladder. I had no problems painting and adjusting the ladder as needed and I'm a 74 year-old female.....and yes my kids thought I was crazy trying to paint the stairwell. Great tool and well built. Very happy with this purchase

I purchased this product to replace a heavy folding extension ladder. I expected the ladder to give a little when extended since it was such a lite weight product and surely it did. However, the give wasn't as much as expected and it was most certainly easier to use than my older folding extension ladder. It was easy to carry, quick to extend and easy/quick to retract. The only caution would be to hold the section above that section retracting so you don't pinch your fingers as the section comes down. Even than, there is a release on each side of the section being retracted, and as such the section doesn't retract until both releases are pulled back (in other words one release doesn't retract the section).Every ladder has a specific use. This one is good for quick/easy carry, quick setup and quick relocation. What makes it better than typical ladders is that it can quickly be retracted to a small size for relocation. No need to relocation a longer/heavy extension ladder. You do need to understand that there is some give as you go up the ladder, but you get use to that rather quickly.Since it is a lite weight ladder be sure that you put it at the right angle (ground to ladder angle) so it doesn't tip backwards on you, as you should with all ladders.

The ladder is very easy to use. Easy to transport and to store. When collapsing the ladder make sure your fingers are out of the way when releasing the button. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.

Bon rapport qualité prix/ prix. Très flexible déployé, surprend au début…. Par contre , attention aux doigts pour refermer l’échelle, descend trop rapidement une fois déclenché….Dommage !
