We purchased this for a specific monitor but did not read the specs carefully and did not support the application that we wanted it for. Quality seems average.

must have got a bad one, looks like 200% on a old crt monitor... no setting will make it work for me. not worth the gas and time to return

I love it! Love how you can just turn a VGA into HDMI while still keeping a VGA port open! It doesn't do dual monitor and it outputs the same image on both outputs. It doesn't feel cheap and the quality is very good.

This product is as expected. A VGA to HDMI adapter. It's small and discreet. Lightweight too. Comes with everything you need. You can easily see the available (correct) ports in the picture I've shared. Plus it comes with a USB cable and a 3.5 cable.

I didn't have any issues when I was using the HDMI except for when I was turning it on and attaching it to a HDMI splitter. I would have to reboot the computer because the monitor wasn't being recognized and I learned that it was something called EDID.

As far as core functionality, this does do the job as listed however, I have had a lot of very weird connectivity issues when connecting via HDMI. For some reason, I always have to fully restart the device before the adapter is picked up correctly on server equipment, as well as windows machine machines. It’s a bit of an annoyance and I don’t know if that is due to the adapter or to some software compatibility issue, but eventually it does pick it up.

Great VGA adapter if you're looking for a dual monitor setup. A simple device, but the price is right. Works well so far! Who knows how long it will last, but I'll add to this review with any updates in the future. A good, basic VGA to HDMI splitter.
