I told my friend that I would convert her VHS-C tapes to DVDs. I bought this adapter to use in the VCR. I first used a tape to clean the VCR heads because how often do we use a VCR?!?! I made 6 DVDs and didn’t have any problems except the adapter needs a battery and I don’t believe it ever instructed me to install one. Then she turned around and made copies of her DVDs. The quality is as good as what you would expect on an old home movie. It doesn’t change the look of it. It just makes it possible that you can watch your treasured memories!! I was nervous at first because I didn’t want her tapes to get ruined or anything!

In the "old days" of using 16 millimeter video cameras, we had the option of using half-size tapes called VHS C. There is an adapter that allows you to play it in a VHS machine. Obviously this is an outmoded practice, and new machines are impossible to find or afford if new. BUT we have some tapes, and our adapters were broken. You cannot imagine how important this find was. And it was even held up in customs (!) It was an amazing find, and we now can watch movies from the 1980's of our home, family, and pets!

This worked perfectly. We are now able to watch and enjoy our old videos . This was a great buy. I would definitely recommend

It seems that all of these VHS-C cassette adapters are touchy. May have to try a few times to get it accept the cassette but eventually got it to work

Too soon to tell but I have high hopes for watching old videos from when my children were young. Their children should enjoy seeing parent as a youngster.

And within days of ordering. Put a battery in it dropped a tape into it and slid it I to the. VHS player. Worked great!

I have a lot of cassetts from the past that I wanted to view. I thought it was a little pricey
