Update ** it quit working, I don't know why. I LOVED it. Very dissappointed, update*** only had it for a few days but I do like all the different settings. The part with the lights doesn't feel cheap. The straps are all adjustable, soft, thick, and sturdy. That is good because I have a small head. I live alone and do a lot of work on my house, in my shed, & in my yard. So it's basically impossible to always have a light shining where I need it. I don't know much about the battery life yet but it is rechargeable by USB. The price point is good. I'd gotten another one on Amazon previously and it didn't give nearly the amount of light and it was really cheaply made. This is bigger than the cheaper one but not really noticeable once you're wearing it. It is lightweight. The actual flashlight swivels up and down which is very helpful because I have glasses so I can put it higher up on my head and swivel it so it won't hit my glasses. I was very excited when I put it on for the first time when I needed to go up into my dark attic. The cats aren't thrilled when I turn to look at them when I have it on.

Needed a light to use when embroidering. It works well. Used it to light up dark spaces when doing handiwork too.

OK this is a great headlamp. I absolutely love it however the only reason I’m giving it a one star is because this is gonna be my fifth time having to solder the negative and positive wires back onto the motherboard, it comes undone constantly. other than that, I love this headlamp ! I’m just sick and tired of having to do that. I want one that doesn’t come undone.Do I recommend it yes and no! they are great… they really are. However, the amount of times that you’re going to put into resodding it is not gonna be great or maybe I just got a bunk one. I’m hoping that’s the case because if it’s just that then I’ll definitely buy it again but with as many times as it’s come undone, I highly doubt that it’s just the one that I have.

RIGHT OFF THE BAT IF YOU BUY THIS LIGHT , OPEN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT 1ST AND REMOVE THE PLASTIC WRAP FROM THE BATTERIES BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CHARGE!!!!( i believe they do include instructions and a label advising you of this, but not everyone bothers to properly inspect their new purchases, buddy bought this after he saw mines and he had "battery life" issues,he never removed the plastic wrap on the batteries but was charging them so yikes)Pictures and video to follow to show its quality and light beam reach, and potential.i bought this Headlight help during night time hikes, cycling, and park walks (sort of natural park, so there's no lighting aside from the parking lot), i would carry a flir monocle to help spot potential predators, to avoid or beaware of their presence since i sometimes had my dogs tagging along, this applied especially if i was on foot.started carrying a flashlight, but needed a hands free option with more "coverage" a sort of wide flood and narrow beam, maybe even a combo, i browsed Amazon for a while until this one caught my eye , checked the reviews, and decided to give it a shot since the price was pretty fair compared to other's that did or had lessprosGreat battery life - i have ran this light for about 3 hours and it has yet to fail on me , i will say i usually alternate between the high spotlight setting, and the spotlight and "flood light" wide beam combo while on the trail to light up the path and it's surroundings since there is wildlife around and sometimes natural obstacles , when using this light i often use the headlamp and the read red flashing lights to let traffic, pedestrians etc have a visual on me. i usually charge after every use, battery compartment has 4 blue Leds that show your battery level when the unit is runningLight Weight - Light is truly light weight , the entire unit is pretty light and does not really have a noticable weight feel when wornComfortable - light is pretty comfortable, there is no plastic guard/shield like i have seen on other headlamps, the straps are also pretty easy to clean after they collect dust, and sweat.Ease of use - Headlight is pretty easy to use, open the package, take it out, open the battery compartment and remove the plastic wrap from the batteries, reinsert the batteries and charge with the micro usb, light has 2 buttons, on on the headlamp unit, and another on the battery compartment to activate the red light on the battery pack.Durability - Light is all made of some plastic material, and the battery compartment does have a rubber or silicone seal to keep water out, Micro usb port to charge the unit also has a rubber cover.Cons in this area are mostly concerns that the rubber cover on the charging port is very thin and feels like it would wear out , rip off and eventually get lost, wire that runs from the battery pack to the headlight feels light to medium duty, it feels like it would eventually fail after the unit is removed and compacted to be put away in a backpacks pocket after a number of times.Cons - personal cons might not be a big deal to other users, but why i gave 4 stars rather than 5 it's a great product...but not really "perfect" for that 5 star, i will make sure to update as more time passes with the product.Charging port - this unit uses the Old Micro usb port 😞 another cable bring about, or use carry a pack with additional batteries, i understand micro usbs give a steady limited current, and type C's give a broad range that can lead to overheating or...blowing of the batteries so in that regard i understand, i guess it would be a bit more costly on their end to redesign the unit. i know most users just browse and look for something more "modern" and compatible with the cables they already own.Quality - i have notice a few areas on the unit that might fail with age or use, these areas being the button on the headlamp unit, the rubber feels very thin and likely to eventually wear and rip with use (has yet to happen to me but will update if it does) , the Charging port rubber cover, as i have stated above the rubber piece that covers the battery port seems to be super thin and likely to eventually rip off with use.Memory function - unfortunately this light does not have a memory function and will not power up onto the last setting used, hopefully it could become feature on a newer upgraded versionModes - 8 modes for the headlamp are great... unfortunately you have to press the button to cycle through the modes, there is no way to preselected a light mode without powering on the unit, i had seen that other units did have sort of dials, or let you select a mode before powering up these would use blinks from leds on the battery compartment mode 1 - 1 blink, mode 2 - 2 blinks etc. the dial Does make it easier to change modes, as another one i saw had you pull up the dial a bit , select the mode you wanted (high beam, low beam, strobe red light etc) and push the dial in to make the change all without having to cycle out your light to change.
