The kit wasn't too bad but a real PITA to install and I'd still be left with a sketchy starter. Bought a new one and never looked back.

It was the right kit for my '93 Chevy P/U. Be sure you have the proper soldering tools. This kit saved me about 6o dollars over the cost of a rebuilt one. Shipping was frustratingly slow, had to wait near three weeks.
