I've used this to charge 48v batteries and it's been excellent. The bluetooth app is really simple and I highly recommend it. When the LifePo4 batteries are totally depleted and the BMS shuts off, not only does this charger wake it self up with solar the next day but it also wakes up the batteries and just works. Used for a month, totally happy

I have used 3 other charge controllers before purchasing this one. The 3 of them were from Harbor Freight, Renogy, and Beleeb. I am electromagnetically sensitive to energy (crystals, magnets, mandalas, etc) and most charge controllers feel energetically uncomfortable to me except this one. I have thoroughly went through all the functions and parameters to see what would relieve me especially when you are living the van life. Your body is continually exposed to magnetic fields, EMF, and radiation when sleeping near various electronic equipment. And for some reason I couldn't sleep well with the previous charge controllers despite playing with the many settings. But this Victron felt better to me. I saw the Bulk, Absorption, and Floating point voltage values were inputtable to 2 decimal places (hundredths place). I looked at my batteries' datasheet, I have 3 Trojan-1275s set in parallel, and lo and behold the datasheet showed 14.82 as my bulk/Absorption voltage, 13.50 for my floating voltage, and 16.20 for equalization that's built into it as an optional function. After inputting these values into the charge controller, I was able to sleep comfortably and in peace. Sure there is Bluetooth that is always on, but it goes to low voltage when not in use, also I have the option to turn off Bluetooth. But be aware you will need accessories to connect directly to your charge controller if you want to turn on Bluetooth. Bluetooth is on by default from the manufacturer. Also it feels better to use tinned copper wire (flexible test lead wire) from the charge controller to your batteries. I kept the length of my wires at 3 feet from the charge controller to the batteries. And on the battery post, if I remember correctly I placed the charge controller's wire with a ring connector lug at the very bottom of the post. The middle connection was a battery cable coming from the other battery, and at the top of the post was my inverter.

Works so far. Bluetooth range is only about 10 feet.

This controller worked well because of the 150 volt input from the panels. It replaced a Renogy controller that could not work at the voltage levels.I have factory installed #10 wire run from my roof to the charge controller. I do not want to run new wires or cut new holes in the roof. This means that you have to up the voltage in order to get the watts to the controller. The commercial panels I have allow in series voltages of well over 150 volts, so I chose to put three panels (335 watt/40 vdc each) in series for a 120 volt at 8.3 max amps. This is less than 1/3 the rated amp load of a #10 copper wire. So very, very low voltage drop. The batteries are currently at 12 volts so the charger is limited to about 400 watts being sent to the batteries at any time. This will change this winter to 48vdc so I can get the full power through it. This charge controller linked to a blue tooth battery monitor has been bullet proof so far. Just make sure you get the high power battery monitor. The low power one will maybe not make it from your batteries to the charge controller. Mine are on opposite ends of a 32 foot trailer. The Lesson I learned from this of having to buy things twice. Pay the price of a good charge controller, with a warranty. One note this seller told me to contact Victron directly when I had a question. Normally resellers of Victron equipment are certified for the equipment they sell. Maybe the seller can tell me, but I believe this is not an official Victron Distributer.

The Bluetooth app for Victron's controllers is really nice. Allows you to customize for your system or use its defaults. The app is a beautiful integration with the hardware and you see in real time how much energy you're working with. I was running one panel into it and then added another in series. The app instantly detected the higher voltage and reflected this in watts & shows the state of my LiFePO4 battery. All I had to do was enter the battery voltage and select the proper battery type. This controller and the app does all the rest.

No hace ruido, no calienta. Puede exportar datos facilmente en formato cvs por ejemplo. Muy contento con el. Lo del VE.Direct me parece algo retorcido de usar para que compres todo de la misma marca y accesorios inecesarios. Espero que sirva de ayuda.

Super easy install. Connects every time to iPad or iPhone. Great configuration options for my Trojan T105 6V batteries. I decided to spend my money on a quality charge controller. My friends all have cheap units. This unit out performs theirs x 10 on cloudy days. Will add a second 300W mono panel next year knowing this unit can handle many more when needed.
