If you are wanting to split your signal and create a giant display using 4 TVs, this is the device for you. There are multiple settings, but the most useful is the 1 to 4, where you can send one HDMI input and have it project across 4 televisions (1/4 an image each) creating a giant puzzle that comes together as a HUGE video output. This is a very specific application, but this could be used for tech/trade shows, presentations or even a karaoke monitor. You just have to be certain that the frame of your TVs isn't too large or you'll have a bar running through the cross-sections of your output. The device is lightweight, well-constructed and easy to adjust between the desired outputs. The instructions are easy to follow. This is a very practical device for the right application.

I purchased one last October and after 2 months of barely using it on the weekends the image started to go away, after many resets or wire and image source changes the problem still persists. I try to contact the seller trough Amazon and I had no response at all, It was under warranty and I was supposed to get a new replacement unit. Im sorry but I will not recommend buying this product.

I can't seem to get it working in my preferred configuration. I have 2 identical monitors that are 1920x1080 that I want to operate stacked one above the other (2 tall), thus giving me a single logical monitor that's 1920x2160. Unfortunately I can't get the right display resolution out of my laptop to support this config. It insists on inverting the dimensions so I get a 2160x1920 display which looks awful and is unusable.Â
It does work in other configurations (mirrored or 2 wide). I got several other matrix configurations to work OK, it just refuses to work right in the one I really want.The remote works for most controlling functions, but the options for rotating each display (Out1 rotate and Out2 rotate) do nothing. I can't get them do work no matter what I do.Â
I also tried getting the serial connection to work so that I could control the rotation via serial since the remote doesn't want to do it, however the serial port seems dead. I've tried multiple USB/Serial adapters (which I know work fine with other devices) and also a variety of COM port settings. Normally if the COM port serial connection settings are wrong, you see garbage on the terminal, but this thing gives me *ABSOLUTELY NOTHING* on the terminal. No characters whatsoever, which leads me to believe mine is a dud, or the claim of serial port control is just vaporware.Â
I really wanted to like this thing, but too many cons (or false claims) for it to be worth buying.

I picked this up to connect multiple monitors for a information display wall for monitoring my systems. This little box is pretty cool. My experience was that it worked well for main stream operating systems, but not for some linux distributions that I have tried. It's a really cool device, and I'd recommend it if you're okay doing a little tinkering.
