It used to be that you'd have to sell your grandmother's heirloom silver to buy a projector like this. The Viewsonic PA700W is a very affordable, very bright projector with a load of features and sharp optics. I'm using this ceiling mounted as a rear projector in an auditorium. It has all of the usual options for mounting rightside up or upside down, keystone and white balance adjustments, lots of inputs, etc. Really, the best thing about this projector is that Viewsonic is known for reliability, the image quality is great, and you won't have to hock grandma's silverware to afford it.

Bases on the Lunems I expected a better quality throw/ projection relative to my distance and other projector.

This projector is not compatible with the new macOS unless you want to use the old VGA cable. ViewSonic is trying to help resolving it.

If it let you use the USB as a source of videos/photos to display, I would have kept it.

Got the unit and when powered on it would shut off 10 seconds later saying "Warning Fan Locked" "The projector will switch off automatically. Please contact a service center for repair. (I did not hear a fan running) I unplugged the unit and waited a few minutes and thought, why not? I powered it on again to see if it possibly reset and the same thing happened. But the unit seems bright and pretty lightweight, almost too light to a fault as it felt a little cheap. I have used other units with a lot more weight and harder casing

The projector works fine and was delivered in a timely manner, but I purchased it because the documentation on the projector's listing stated it would produce a 200" image at 8.2'. I have my projector mounted at 19' and the image size still does not reach the 200" threshold. In fact it is probably close to 140".Please do better research than I did when purchasing a projector.

I was surprised at the quality of image for the price. Colour definition is excellent and brightness is great for use over a reasonable distance, even in a room with lights.2 HDMI ports is a real bonus for connecting more than one device and switching is very easy with the remote.

Easy to set up, and fantastic colour and tone reproduction from a laptop. It replaced an older projector which was too expensive to repair. This is a better projector than the original one and is value for money.

Really bright projector, but the image sizes on this listing are incorrect. It can't project the size I need in the space I have, so had to return. Actual projection distances from the manual in attached photo.

Great product. Great value for money as quality is good. Had to but lots pf add ons to get to use it for the purpose intended. Im able to hold presentations using the projector
