Im really happy with how clear and sharp the picture is now. I thought maybe my cameras were getting old but thought I would try some new baulans first and that turned out to be the right decision. They saved me alot of money and I could not be happier definately recommend to anyone who uses cat cable for camera wires.

I bought these to replace all 40 existing baluns in my gated community. The existing ones are cheaply made and the BNC connections are loose and intermittent. These have a much tighter fit while being inserted into the mating connector and don't wiggle afterward like the originals do.However this website states that the wire does not need to be stripped. However, all my connections were intermittent until I stripped the wires. Also, the pictures on this website show what appears to be a much higher quality BNC connector that what was on the baluns that I received. The inner ring of the connector is shown as gold plated in some of the pictures, nickel in others and in all cases much thicker than in the ones I received. This outer ring is what carries the coax shield connection and if it were thicker it would be less likely to wiggle and become intermittent over time. However these seem to have a good fit and not wiggle easily.
