Well, well, well. These lights are supposed to last an impressive 2000 hours, but my first bulb barely lasted 110 hours. If this is a new record for premature burnout, I’m not sure if I should be impressed or horrified. I mean, it’s almost like the bulb got stage fright and couldn’t handle the pressure of its long lifespan expectations. I bought these with the hope that they’d light my bearded dragon’s life well, for a good, long while, but instead, it barely made it to the first intermission.Speaking of my bearded dragon, he’s the one who really took the hit here. The poor guy has been waiting for his daily basking session, but instead of enjoying a nice, warm basking light, he's probably wondering if he's been cursed by some cosmic prank. I’m pretty sure he's side-eyeing me, wondering why I can't get this "simple light bulb thing" figured out. You know, the bearded dragon lifestyle is all about soaking up that sweet, sweet thermal heat, but with a light bulb that’s clearly flaking out on him, his vibes are about as dim as the light in his enclosure.Now, I’m not jumping to conclusions after all, maybe this is just a fluke, like the bulb had a bad day at work or something. But, after browsing through the reviews, I’ve learned I’m not alone in this journey of disappointment. Apparently, some people have experienced the same "blink and it's over" fate with their bulbs, so it seems this isn’t just a one-off tragic tale.Anyway, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the second bulb. Maybe it’s the "good egg" of the bunch, the one that’ll go the distance and make it to 2000 hours. Or, maybe it'll just blink out at 111 hours and I’ll be back here again, writing the sequel to this saga. Stay tuned! I'll update this review if and when the second bulb has its own premature exit.

Didn't want to drive to a big box store and hunt through the hundreds of light bulbs and find only LEDs. These are halogen bulbs and came in about two days....Exactly what I needed to light up the outside of the house....

The lights that were not broken illuminate a gentle light. But because some arrived broken - cost per bulb was pricey .

I always use floodlights as basking bulbs for my bearded dragon and these burned out extremely quickly. Of all the bulbs I've used these lasted the shortest amount of time, would not buy again.
