- FAQ1: What is the best angle to clean the Record?
ANSWER: The correct position is holding the brush at a 90 degree angle to the record, if using it on a turntable you should apply subtle pressure to the Vinyl and move from the center to the outer edge once or twice making sure the dust particles get picked up. - FAQ2: Is it better to clean the record using a turntable?
ANSWER: It is easier to work the Record when placed on a turntable and makes the cleaning much simpler as the Record turns; applying light pressure will help getting the job done. - FAQ3: Should I use a cleaning solution?
ANSWER: No, the Carbon Fiber Brush is designed to be used dry, it will work fine to get rid of dust and static charge. However if a deeper cleaning is needed, we suggest using a microfiber towel with a soft cleaning solution, or our Velvet Brush model which includes a non-alcohol based cleaning solution. - FAQ4: How do I clean the Velvet Brush when too dirty?
ANSWER: When much dirt accumulation is present on the Carbon Fiber Brush, the performance and cleaning capabilities might get compromised. Please soak the brush on a warm soapy solution (you can use a soft hand cleaning soap or baby shampoo diluted 1/20 in water), then dry it using a microfiber towel to get it back to top performance.

User Instructions:
- Simple to use, the BR-29 Brush was designed for effortless and effective cleaning, and getting rid of static charge.
- Place the Record on the turntable and turn it on, as soon as it begins spinning, start cleaning it making a subtle movement from the Center to the outer edge.
- Repeat the process if necessary, making sure you clean the excess dust from the Carbon Fiber Brush with a soft terry cloth or microfiber towel.
- The protective cover also helps disposing of the excess dust from the Carbon Fibers, just turn the brush a few times around it and most particles will disperse.
- You should use the Record Brush dry when there is not much dust on the Vinyl, or for regular routine clean ups. For deeper cleaning we suggest our BR-27 Velvet Brush model, which includes a bottle of cleaning solution that will better help with filthier situations.

This is a great little tool for cleaning up those dusty, dirty golden finds from your local thrift store. Using your turntable, it is quick and easy to revive your old records. I love that the brush folds up and that these are smaller items, so they fit perfectly inside a decorative box next to my setup. Worth it!

Great Brush and Microfiber Cloth. The solution is perfect for cleaning the records but wish it was a bigger amount of it. Over all a good buy.

This was the first record cleaning I have used. It worked great for a while but sadly the brush did not hold up. Almost all of the records I cleaned sounded better after using this product. I cleaned a few newer records after cleaning all my old ones, and they actually sounded worse.

I have a small collection of records, just around 200. It is the left over of too many international moves.They are really dear to me. Suddenly I found out that there is humidity where the records were. When I saw them with a lot of dust and some mold, I did not have much hope I could restore them. Searching the internet I decided to try this set. The combination of the brush, cleaning solution and the cleaning cloth worked like magic. For people who care about to keep their records in a good shape I highly recommend the cleaning brush set by record-happy. You and your records will certainly be happily pleased! In additional and not less important: It is a company totally oriented towards the needs of their customers. They are outstanding!!!! If the system allows more than 5 stars, for sure I will give more.

It's been great though I can't speak to durability -- seems sturdy but we've only used it a couple of times so far. Overall appears to be a good value. This is our first time owning vinyl, so not the best judge!

A lady gave me her late husband‘s album collection. They had been in boxes for a while. They were very dusty even though they were in their sleeves this cleaner kit that I bought worked amazing and they look immaculate like they’re brand new.
