These strings were purchased for a 1/2 size violin. We are pleased with the tone, but unfortunately the G string broke when restringing the violin. Fiddlerman has excellent customer service and had a new string processed for shipping within hours of us contacting them. These strings come with a 3 month warranty, nice tone and action, and as good a customer service team as you could hope for. For that reason they are worth paying a higher price than the usual student strings we've purchased in the past.
