Very happy with these heat mats. I broke the first one (my tray was leaky and I did not know it. It was soaked and stopped working). It initially did work well. I was far more careful with the second mat and it has made starting celery and pepper seeds so far a dream!

BEST PURCHASE EVER!!! I started a makeshift indoor greenhouse for seedlings this past winter. I wanted to get a head start, since we have a late spring, our ground doesnt defrost until late may. THESE ARE AMAZING!!!!! My seedling germinated within a week!!!, As you can see in the picture it keeps it nice and warm and a little humid! I will be buying more!!! AND I have used them when hosting a party and would place underneath the plastic table cloth and place food on top and kept it warm LOL

Absolutely love these, not like the other ones I bought from vivosun through Amazon, these are flat and wonderful, the others are silicon bags, puffy, not even completely heating...but these are solid, durable, wonderful product!

This is the second time I have purchased heat mats for my seeds in the greenhouse. Both of them have worked well and performed as advertised. They are durable and just the right size to fit on the shelves of my mini greenhouse and the one I built. The thermostat does very well and kept my seeds from being killed by the recent cold and frost. I recommend that anyone who wants to protect their plants, purchase these warming mats. But make sure that you get a thermostat regulator to maintain the proper heat on the plants.

These helped seeds sprout fast!! I live in northern Michigan so it’s necessary to sprout indoors ahead of planting season. I needed extra heat on my sprouts in cold areas of my home and these pads worked wonders!! Like magic!! So easy to use, unfold, link up and plug in! Done! Wella!

Safe yourself some disappointment and get these mats. I bought another brand on a deal thinking they were all the same. Wrong. Came back for my 4th purchase of Vivosun. They are warmer than the competition and no cold spots even without the temperature regulator. These are not heating pads that pump out massive heat. But they do keep my seedlings happy in a 30-45 degree garage and make a huge difference in soil temperature. I use them for (too many!) Tomato and Pepper plants I start from seed as well as some flower seeds. I don't use the temperature regulator and my results are still spectacular.

I recently picked up a couple of these VIVOSUN seedling heat mats to give my plants a little extra TLC during the cooler spring weather here in Hardiness Zone 5B. I've got them set up in my 4-tier mini greenhouse, and so far, I'm really impressed with how they're performing.The installation was a piece of cake. All you have to do is unroll the mats, place them under your seed trays, and plug them in. No muss, no fuss. Each mat was perfect for the standard seed trays I picked up at my local garden center.Once powered on, these mats provide a nice, gentle heat that seems to be just right for germination. I'm not a pro and haven't measured things super precisely, but my basil, thai basil, oregano, sage, thyme, chives, lemon balm, and catnip seem to have no complaints. The heat feels very uniform across the whole mat too.I've also gotten them a bit wet during watering and there's been zero issues. They seem built to last.All in all, I've gotta give these VIVOSUN mats two green thumbs up. They're doing a stellar job keeping my seedlings cozy and thriving during these last few weeks before I can move them outside.

Great value for the price in a two pack - bonus less packaging too! Came with a great little bag to store them when not in use. I have prior ones that have worked perfectly for seedling trays. I am using one of these currently at the back of a 20 gallon vivarium with red-eyed tree frogs. They have slept right up against the glass next to it. It has provided a warm zone from front to back but also one that goes all the way to the top of the tank at the back. It is on a VIVOSUN temp controller and has foam loosely placed behind it to help direct heat into the tank. SO FAR, SO GOOD.
