This is the second time I have purchased heat mats for my seeds in the greenhouse. Both of them have worked well and performed as advertised. They are durable and just the right size to fit on the shelves of my mini greenhouse and the one I built. The thermostat does very well and kept my seeds from being killed by the recent cold and frost. I recommend that anyone who wants to protect their plants, purchase these warming mats. But make sure that you get a thermostat regulator to maintain the proper heat on the plants.

The thermostat really wasn't required for my seeds to germinate using these mats. I now save myself money by just purchasing the mats without the thermostats.

We keep bees on our farm. I used this and an extra mini fridge to make a warming cabinet to keep buckets of honey liquid for bottling. The PID is accurate and holds temperature well. The mat fits around a 5 gallon bucket almost perfectly. It seems. To work well. I know a lot of people are probably buying this for starting plants. But my off label used worked for us at a fraction of the cost of a warming cabinet.

The two heat pads only got to a "warm" temp. The thermostat was set to 79 degrees and the pads were on all the time. The temp only rose 3 degrees above room temp. Used the same controller and switched to Sunbeam heating pads. The pepper starts are going nicely. The heat pads- just another sad product coming out of Red China. Why don't American companies care about what they are making?
