I’ve tried several soft shutter releases like this one and really have found this to work the best for me. The concave design is most comfortable and helps center the release finger for maximum control, the 12mm size is not too large to interfere with the on/off power switch and it just really looks sharp and feels good. Remember to use the smaller (diameter) o-ring for it for Fuji X cameras and enjoy!

I love how this looks on my camera. When I first purchased my FujiFilm X-T2 I purchased the Red Wood Shutter Release button. I looked dark red and really looked nice against the all-black camera. The overall look and quality definitely is high quality but the treading I guess loosens over time because while out taking pictures at a Zoo. One minute I noticed it was there the next time I brought my camera to my face and was feeling for the button it was gone. It sucks that I fell off so easily I was hoping that since it was red I would see it on the ground retracing my steps. Unfortunately, I didn't find it which upset me because it isn't a cheap accessory. This time I purchase the Golden Wood Shutter Release button. It is not as bold as a red button but I think it is more stylish. After seeing both in person I think I would choose the Golden Wood over the Dark Red just to be different.The reason I'm rating 4-stars instead of 5 is that the treading loosened and the button fell off and I had to rebuy this item. Other than that I would have rated it 5-stars.

This was easy to install if you have the right touch at getting it perfectly aligned and rotate gently, with the o ring there is VERY little thread engagement and while I've never had one loosen and come off during use, I've occasionally accidentally had it rotate slightly and come off while I was messing with the on/off switch and dials. It's 1mm larger diameter than the others I've tried but the natural finish is more pleasant tactile-wise and aesthetically to me than the black/red/gold plain smooth plastic ones

I just don't get these bad reviews. The product I received is attractive and nicely finished. True, it doesn't screw in very deeply, so I'll keep an eye on it. It's just a relatively inexpensive way to customize ones camera, so buy it or don't, but don't expect it to work wonders.

Gefällt mir sehr gut! Passt auch farblich super zum „Arch“ Lederband in walnut. Qualität passt, preislich ist es auch ok! Ich würde mir einen einfarbigen - ohne die dunkle Maserung wünschen. Kann ich bisher nur weiterempfehlen!!

A little expensive for what it is, especially as it just includes 1 piece.Otherwise I have been pleased. The O-ring is a nice inclusion. Tactile feel is satisfactory. The wood finish is smooth and nice. It stays on securely and I have never lost it.I kept it and did not return it as I liked the pattern. There are probably better options for your money.
