This is probably the most fun thing I have bought from amazon.I have been wanting to get a remote controlled plane for most of my adult life but was afraid to spend what they want for most model planes just to crash and ruin it first day out. Found this and decided to get it as a boding gift for my daughter and I to learn together. She is more into planes than me and shes only 9.First day out. Fighting wind. Had to climb my roof in first 15 minutes. Soared with a few redtailed hawks. Crashed alot. This thing held up to it all including a fall from a tree in the park next door which I had to throw a stick to get it and still undamaged.I would not only recommend it but will probably buy another after we both get acclimated to this one.

Initially, this plane flew very good. The beginner and intermediate control settings were great and allowed for stable flight for new to RC plan flyers. Shortly after purchasing, my plane started prematurely banking right and crashing. Nothing seems to be working to get it to fly correctly. Attempts to contact the company went nowhere...they like to say that I don't know how to fly it. I've sent them explanations and videos, and the best I have gotten so far is, make sure you are using the controls correctly. Luckily, I know how to fly RC planes. Overall, its okay, but if you have an issue, GOOD LUCK getting help. I have a feeling I have spend $$$ on a now busted up plane that I had to risk to get videos and pictures and testing to prove that I know how to fly...and I have received nothing in return. Buyer beware.

I really enjoy this little Mustang. It is a lot of fun to fly and looks great in the air. There are three modes- self leveling with low rates for novice pilots, self leveling with mid rates for intermediate pilots, and experienced mode with no leveling. I spend most of my time in the mid mode, which allows fun acrobatics. This plane can move pretty fast, and for that reason, I would not recommend it as a first plane. It would make a perfect second plane for pilots with a bit of experience. I removed the landing gear, since I fly on grass fields. The prop is designed to pop off during belly landings. It also pops right back on. With a little bit of experience, the prop can be refitted quite easily and quickly. I recommend purchasing a few extra props, as you will probably need them if you fly a lot. The transmitter is basic but adequate for the job. It has good range out to 200+ yards, at which point the plane becomes quite small! This is also a very durable plane—much more durable than most of the competing UMX series. This P51 Mustang is a remarkable value for the money. But most importantly, it is fun to fly!

If you are interested in getting into flying rc plans this is the best thing on the market. It is extremely durable. I have crashed it multiple time and it did not damage that super glue couldn’t fix. It’s easy to pick up flying. I had never flown a rc plan before but picked it up easy. The gyro system and the different levels allow you to slowly get the idea of how it flies. The battery life last like 15 to 20 minutes a piece. Plenty of flight time for evening flying. Overall great buy!

I just can't say enough about how fun this plane is to fly. For years I've wanted to take the step of getting an RC plane, and actually flying it. My dad and I managed to destroy every plane we attempted to fly when I was a kid and I was afraid it just wasn't in the cards. This one works. The three settings are just right. It arrived on Monday, and I flew it on Tuesday hand launched and solo while on the phone with my girlfriend. This after never getting more that a few hundred feet with previous efforts.And it's durable! Although I was very gentle at first, it was necessary to test my abilities and up the ante. This facilitated a few hard landing, prop replacements(included) and a little glue to repair a tear in the foam. It still works. As a matter of fact, I'll go fly it today! Super cool...

The plane looks great is just about ready to fly right out of the box. You just have to put the front wheels on and then bind the transmitter to the plane. The instructions are easy to read. The beginner mode is perfect to get started flying. I flew in calm winds at first and then again in about 10 mph(I wouldn’t fly in anything more).
