I'm 6'3" tall, 190 pounds, 34 inch waist and 34 inch inseam. I tried both the large and the medium sizes. The medium were a little snug especially through the thighs. If you like your clothes tight, the medium is probably for you. I prefer a looser fit. The large isn't big or sloppy but just has a little extra room. Unfortunately, the waist on the large is quite big. I have it synched pretty tight with the internal tabs. Not so bad though because it does afoord me room to loosen up when I wear four layers on cold days. The pants do have belt loops to use if that helps. All that said, the pants are amazing and perform really well. Very comfortable. Handle snow well. Fit nicely over ski boots. Large is a good length for 34 inch inseam.

Originally ordered a medium and they were way too big in the waist for me. After reading the reviews I couldn’t decide which size so I went with a medium and it was wrong. Returned and exchanged for a small and they were great!! I am 5’10†about 158lbs and definitely on the smaller side. The pants were comfy, I wore long underwear underneath, as I always do, while riding and it was great. Was able to move around freely with mobility issues while doing jumps or grabs. All the pockets having zippers was so nice because if you’ve fallen and lost stuff on the mountain before you know how much it sucks. I definitely recommend these, just beware of the waist size. If you wear between a 30 - 32 pant size I would say go small not medium.

I'm 145lbs soaking wet and 5'8 tall. These are perfect, I've tried other brands and these fit great, the thighs aren't so big you need tent stakes and but not so tight they hinder movement even with some layering underneath.Good quality, as you'd expect from Volcom. I found them as a warehouse deal, but having tried them in person I'd buy again if they were regular price.

Bought these to replace some cheap insulated pants I had previously. These are shells, so they are thin and light but I expect them to be fine for California winters. The quality seems excellent and they are full of nice features. However, they run very large. I'm 5'10" 190 lbs and ordered L like my old pants and these are way too long, probably well suited for someone around 6'1"-6'2". Also, the fit is peculiar in that the thighs are very fitted and they taper out very wide towards the bottom. I would say that these pants are only going to work for someone on the thinner side, as I am moderately thin at my weight and the thigh fit is just right, so these may be too tight for anyone in the 5'10" 200-210+ range. All in all, I love the look and features of the pants, so I'm ordering size M and hoping that my thighs will still fit with hopefully a better length for me.Update: the length on the size M is perfect now, but the thighs are way too tight. Unfortunately, I'll have to go with another style. If you are 5'10" you need to be skinnier than 190 lbs for the M

They know what they’re doing! Great material, good fit. Wasn’t too tight, not too baggy.

Great brand, great looks, but the fit in the thigh area is just too tight and I don't have fat or muscular thighs. The cut on these pants just needs to be a bit looser or you'll feel very restricted in your movement. I ended up sending these back and got a pair of 686 liners which are much more comfortable.

The materials are really soft and it does kind of fit like a baggy chino. Love the color and the sizing was on point. Volcom makes some rad snow gear and this was definitely my new go-to for spring laps. I think it'll be great for the PNW winters, too.

The snow pants fit pretty well, not to mention there is a belt to provide additional support for controlling the tightness. There are many pockets for small stuff and ski pass. I had a white ski jacket and this black color matches amazingly great, too.

Hab die Snowboardhose im Urlaub jeden Tag beim Boarden getragen und bin sehr angetan. Sie ist sehr bequem und hält einen gut warm. Kann die Hose absolut empfehlen.

The pants seem well made, But I couldn't even get them on.As an athletic brand I understand that as sizes go up they prioritize taller people rather than fatter people, but since there was no sizing guide I assumed that they increased would play it safe and make the pants both taller and wider. Based on some other reviews that seemed to be the case, with people reviewing large sizes, so I figured that an XXL would fit a 40 waist.nope.I think that the XXL was designed for a 7 foot tall man with a 34 waist.I suspect that these are actually quite nice snowboard pants. But wait until they upload a sizing chart before you buy.
