I can adjust it so it isn't hot on me, not too heavy, neck is not too long or heavy, easy to operate.both brightness are just right. You can practice in a dark room without disturbing the other person in the room and without eye strain. I've bought 5 I hated so I kept looking. FINALLY got the right one. When Hurricane Milton cut my power, I was also able to pop in batteries & keep going with no issues. Only had it 2 months, NO Negatives....If I get 1 within the year, I will re- post.JUST BUY IT !

Quick delivery and did not disappoint. Much brighter than the music stand light that it replaces and has a dim setting if needed. Just started using it but so far great for the price. Switch is on the clamp and less convenient than the switch mounted on the light.

I use this on my music stand when I play my guitar with a group of friends. It gives great light and stays put. The battery seems to last a long time, as I have used it for about 15 hours so far and I'm still on the first set of batteries.It has two settings for brightness and I have used the highest setting with no dimming so far. It fits in a backpack with no problems. I would buy this again.

This light is bright and can work on batteries of USB power (adapter is included). The clip is secure. Perfect.

Having said that this is a useful light for musician, I think next time I would get one that is not as heavy, with firmer clip and a longer wire. Some stands in public concert hall are made with metal instead of wood, thus the grip needs to be firmer and the light less heavy. Wiring in the concert hall stage is always not satisfactory and a longer usb wire may help. I can still use this at home but going to perform--I would use other brand.

Great brightness, but no batteries. Bought rechargeable batteries, did not charge, Checked with battery guy - not the problem.. With my electrical engineering degrees, I should figure out the problem, I did, and the battery pack was misswired, One connection was in series, the rest were Isolated, so that one battery had no connection. TIme to go to Staples for return.
