Ordered these replacement 12V, 20W Halogen bulbs about a month ago. Parts arrived on time and I installed two so far and as for now they are still working. Brightness is fine and similar to my other bulbs. I will be curious to know how long they last as that is my only concern. The bulbs look and feel similar to the ones I have used in the past.

After almost ten years in service, one of the bulbs in our kitchen range hood failed. We've been religious about fitting LED replacement bulbs, so initially replaced all the halogen bulbs in the hood with claimed extra-bright LED's. Complaints from mrs dr bob about LED brightness and color brought me back to halogens.These bulbs came compactly packaged, at a very good price especially compared with buying them locally in retail packaging. They are comparable to the Bosch bulbs originally fitted. I went ahead and replaced all the bulbs in the hood, and expect another decade of performance from them. When these start to fail then, I'll still have enough to replace the wholes set again. I don't expect to buy another set, assuming I remember to look in the spare-bulbs bin for that next round.The economics: Numbers people will explain that it makes no sense to invest in future value more than about six years out, based on current interest rates. Meanwhile, having spares in hand for the few dollars adds a comfort factor that I won't need to go shopping for them again when the next one fails. It's a really cheap "comfort" factor.

These were quite inexpensive and easy to install and seem to work well. Cannot offer info on life of this product at this time
