I use this to pull out stumps and it works well as it has not broken and it has pulled out up to 5". But that is the power of the tractor, not the chain.

I connected this chain around a large tree and used a Liberrway shackle to attach a snatch block to the chain to pull logs up a hill. I used a 3/8†by 65’ long cable and everything worked well together. It didn’t have any problems connecting or holding together. I’m not sure what the logs weighed, but they went up to 22†diameter by 15’ long. I left the smaller diameter logs longer.

The chain is well made and looks as though it will eaisily handle the 6000 pound limit specification . The length is very good for many applications.

This pair of utility chains is just perfect for my retired tractor work. When you need a chain, nothing else will do. The gold plating looks nice, but it readily scratches off. The links are smooth without weld snags. The grab hooks are correctly sized for the chain links, so they hook back on itself very securely. The links and hooks are stamped as grade 70, so it should be the real thing. I have used one chain twice now for rigging and pulling a boulder. Works fine with no sign of distress.
