I used this for a fiberglass welding hood. This turned out better than expected. I also purchased a Yeegewin heat gun, and that also worked extrmely well, it was the 2 setting one and the price was awesome also. I used this on a welding hood, I wanted to do a design with the carbon fiber, and It looks decent to me. Find that good valance of heat and letting it cool while stretching it over what you need while getting the wrinkles and bubbles out. Definitely would recommend.

This vinyl wrap is the truth! It looks like real carbon fiber. I used it for my car's interior and it looks great. Once you peel off the top plastic layer it feels good to the touch and very easy to clean. It brings your car's interior to another level and is affordable.

This was my second wrapping, my first was with a different wrap for my spoiler and it came out pretty good. This one I used for my center council. The wrap is kinda thick and I liked that because that means it's easyer to work with. You can heat it up and stretch it without tearing it. You need a heat gun or hair dryer. I used a heat gun and it worked great. I layed it in place then stretched it into place. I then worked out the bubbles and wrinkles.I recommend this wrap because it has shine and looks good and you can work with it. The only con I see is the adhesive does not hold good in corners around my radio cutout. But I am not a pro so maybe I just need the practice to get it to work. But I am very happy with the final outcome. I will submit a picture of it finished and installed later.Update: I added pictures after install. Looks good just dont like the corners as you can see in the pictures. But I think its just my inexperience on wrapping.

I purchased this to cover up my gold chevy logo on my silverado. It was easy to apply and good quality. I feel it should last a long time and stand up to the weather conditions, etc.You get plenty if you need to replace or make an error applying.

While I do like it, A portion came with a deep scratch in it so I may have to order another smaller roll. The other thing is that it would not bond very well at certain parts. The last confusing part was I saw a lot people say that there is a clear protective film that you have to peel off. I tried and I can’t see that there is any clear film that I can peel off. Some said this is why it was hard to use but I just don’t see it. In their description it doesn’t mention a protective removable film either so maybe they changed it??? With all that being said it does look good just didn’t stick well at times even with very little heat.

Bought this for my interior cup holder areaWorks great, has an adhesive backing that doesn't stick to the part you're trying to cover until you apply heat to it. Looks like real carbon fiberUsed it on my door panels also where the fabric was coming off in place of new fabricLooks better and once apply heat to itSays it will last for 8-10 years on exterior of vehicle so on the interior of car should last longer

Having read some negative reviews from others, I decided to try this product anyway. I can only conclude that the negative reviews are due to users inexperience with vinyl wrapping and/or the users incompetence. This product worked well for me on a quite tricky and angled surface. The product when used PROPERLY looks like genuine glossy carbon fibre, and it is far superior to others sold online. Adhesion is OK, and stretches well when heated properly (using a hair dryer is best as not to burn or melt it). Patience and planning is the key to using this product correctly. In conclusion, I would definitely buy this product again should I require more.

I'm pretty picky with all the carbon fiber vinyls out in the market. I've used 3M Dinoc before but that was more to capture the dry weave look (where you can feel the weave). However, this one I believe is the closest match to closed weave style of CF that you see in most cars. This was an identical match to the carbon fiber package in my BMW. It's great for wrapping headrests or other parts that may not be covered by the CF package your car maker offers. However, I did say with ONE caveat. And by no means is it the fault of the company. This film is for indoor use only. While it might not expressly state it in the Amazon ad, if you go to the VVIVID website and read up on this, it does clearly state that fact. If you look at my pics I decided to use it to do my B-pillars as I found the gloss black was getting scratched up. While it looked great on a sunny day, things turned quite different when it rained. (See 2nd photo). As already stated, it does not like the elements. I couldn't bear to see what would happen in the winter so I peeled it off after a few weeks. Other than the rain it held up quite well and would dry out after but I figured that would only worsen over time. It's stunning vinyl and I find it be one of the best matches ever. Since it was meant for indoor application, I ended up using it to cover the seat backs of my car. I think they came out amazing. Shout out to Lam Le (on youtube) who has a great video showing him installing on some Porsche seat backs. That's where I got the idea to do it. So instead of buying $1000 CF 'backs' that tape over the seat, I did this for $50. I think if you put both side by side you'd have a tough time figuring out the difference. It's so smooth and shiny that they really pop.

This item looks absolutely nothing like the photos, it reminds me of those 5D, 6D carbon style vinyls found for under £10 elsewhere. It has the exact same semi-circle lines on the carbon pattern as those cheaper ones, which is not what is shown in the pictures. It is also very dark that you can barely notice any carbon fibre appearance. I have a 6D carbon vinyl wrap roll I bought several years ago to compare and that one is brighter and looks better. Absolutely awful, waste of money and will be returning.
