Saved the day when my Kenmore fridge stopped. The temp display showed dashes, and I took a chance. No instructions, but I found a how-to on changing the part online, all worked fine. Came to the point where you code in your number (on the fridg sticker) and found it was already coded for my model. Took a couple days to completely come to temp. It was a home repair miracle.

Worked perfectly. Picked up a great fridge someone was throwing away. This new controller was all it needed. Now we have a great garage fridge.

Advise you to replace this board in your refrigerator and it will be like new again. I have an extra one around at all times because your refrigerator can go on the Fritz and your food gets all bad and then you throw it all out. So what you do is buy an extra one. You keep it on hand.

I have used several of these, the perk is they actually include the paperwork explaining how to program it. I do not need that as I've done plenty of them but we have customers that will get them and inevitably if you buy the factory ones they no longer come with it if you're lucky you'll get a little card QR code.

after a few power outages, next time I opened the frig the display was doing weird stuff, wouldn't hold the settings. Knew it was a main problem. searched manufacturers website for correct part number $206.00 ka-ching they wanted for it. cross referenced part # to Amazon this popped up, less then $30 bucks, install took 15 minutes with a screwdriver, programmed easy, and BAM it working. Board looks very similar to factory except with smaller processor (like my frig needs a large processor, right) connectors were identical. great product fast delivery. O... and I purchased a surge suppressor this time... LOL
