I wish it had a better stand or something, because the cable is stiff enough that it wants to roll onto the muzzle when you put it down, but, barring that this is a very good, simple and reliable tool.

Wagner heat gun that gets hot in two settings. the diverters are welcome when using on other types of jobs. the flat one though is a bit cheap. It bends really easily.

There is not much to say about a heat gun. It heats. It heats up really fast and I have left it on for hours at a time with no problems whatsoever. The only complaint I have is the power cord. The cord is very stiff and if not just right the heat gun will fall over. Upgrade the cord to higher quality rubber sheathing or maybe even a fabric like casing. But all in all it’s a good addition to the toolbox. Prob have about 50 hours runtime no problems.

I always wanted a heat gun. I finally had a project that needed it - aged wooden shutters. The heat gun worked beautifully. I wore leather gloves so never once got burned.Love the price and the attachments! Well worth the buy!!

Have only used to tighten plastic window seal to keep air out, worked great. Will use more for removing bubbles from resin projects and bending pvc pipe. Will update if any problems with gun come up

Used the heat gun to heat shrink tubing when running electrical wires on accessories for the new vehicle. Worked well and better than having an open flame. Would recommend.

The heat gun was bought just to make it easier to remove the previous 2 layers of paint before repainting. The Wagner 400 was about as useful as teats on a boar. The instruction manual was followed as directed, such as pre-sanding, etc. However, we might as well have poured hot water over the old paint & get the same results as the heat gun, which was diddly-squat. Overall, the Wagner 400 was easy to use, felt comfortable to hold, a pretty not too bad user manual, and nozzle attachments for various projects. Although we didn’t use it for the other applications such as removing caulk, or to soften pipes for bending, but I think it would be more useful for those tasks.
